Kate Thomas

BA (Hons) Interior Design
BSc (Hons) Architecture

HEAD OF INTERIOR DESIGN

Having studied separately as both an Architect and as an Interior Designer, Kate is experienced and qualified in both fields.

Rather than distinguish between interior and exterior design Kate prefers instead to consolidate and unite the two. The quality of Kate’s interior architecture was recognised at Cardiff School of Management and Cardiff School of Art and Design which both received RIBA Awards.

Kate is highly organised and an accomplished Project Director with an infectious enthusiasm and drive which ensures projects are progressed positively and effectively. She is adept at communicating, listening and understanding which is particularly valuable for stakeholder workshops and presentations. Kate is an important member of our senior management team and her wider practice roles include driving staff development and training alongside resource management.  She is a key member of our practice-wide Education sector and Arts, Culture & Heritage sector groups
